What type of tickets are available and where do I purchase them?  Because it’s a beer sampling event you have several ticket choices.  Don’t get confused.  To purchase tickets for the event, click here.  VIP tickets will only be available for pre-purchase and not available the day of the event

Will there be an ATM available on-site?  Yes, we plan on having an ATM on site.  However, we urge you to bring cash for the event.

Is this an all ages event?  Yes, but keep in mind it’s a beer festival.  As the day progresses it’s likely to be less & less kid friendly (duh).

If the event is cancelled for any reason you likely won’t need to do a thing if you entered a valid email address. We’ll inform you of the cancellation by email and refund any amount paid.

Should we expect there to be lines at the event?  We fully anticipate lines at the event as many people will likely arrive early.  We will be pre-processing people in lines (checking IDs, ensuring you’re in the proper line, etc.) to ensure the initial admission lines move as quickly as possible.  Within the event the beers/breweries in higher demand will likely have lines but we expect them to move quickly.  While at the event please be courteous to those behind you in line and try to limit conversations with brewery representatives when possible.   Bottom line, if there’s a line that means it’s probably pretty good.

If I leave the event am I allowed to come back in?  VIP Ticket holders will be allowed in & out privileges…but why would you wanna leave with all this awesome?

Can I bring my own food or drink to the event?  No, you will not be allowed to bring any food or drink from the outside to the event.

Will there be food or non-alcoholic beverages available? Yes, we will have multiple locations to purchase water and other non-alcoholic beverages along with several food trucks.

Will pets be allowed at the event?  No, but this does not mean we don’t love them.

Will smoking be allowed at the event?   Yes, the event is outdoors and smoking will be allowed.  However, there will be no smoking in the Food Truck area nor within 15 feet of any booths.  You cannot smoke illegal things.

Am I allowed to bring a bag to the event?  A small handbag is permitted but is subject to search upon entry.  We do not discriminate and man purses are also welcome.

Can I bring a lawn chair to the event?  No, you will not be allowed to bring any sort of chair but there will be plenty of seating available!

Will there be a place to check my bag at the event?  Again, no.  We simply don’t have the space or area to safely store bags.  With there being PLENTY of nearby parking we ask that you leave backpacks & larger bags in the car or at home.

What items are NOT allowed at the event?

  • Bags other than small handbags (Backpacks, coolers, etc)
  • Weapons (knives, pepper spray, concealed weapons, nunchucks, maces, etc)
  • Illegal drugs or Chemicals
  • Fireworks
  • Unapproved Marketing Materials of any kind
  • Other items as determined by event security

See also Photography, Videography & Marketing Policy

ALL bags are subject to search upon entry to the event.  Security reserves the right to ask anyone to return any prohibited items to their vehicle, or dispose of the items.  Non-cooperation may lead to ejection without refund.

What are age restrictions for the event?   We feel like Untapped is a FORT WORTH community event and therefore do not want to exclude families from attending.  Anyone under 18 years of age MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A GUARDIAN.   Children under 12 years of age will be admitted free with a guardian.

What is the Photography, Videography & Marketing Policy? We encourage you to take photos of the event and share them with friends via social media.  Video cameras other than via phones are NOT allowed without a press credential.

Is parking going to a problem?  Not at all.  Parking Details Coming Soon…

How much will parking cost?  Not a stinking penny.  Again, that’s part of the beauty of the location.  Save your money and spend it on beer!!

What will you do with intoxicated patrons?   First, there will be plenty to drink at the festival – please do not pre-party.  If you’re intoxicated upon arrival you will be refused admission and no refund will be given.  We understand it’s a beer festival and people are going to be drinking.  However, out of respect for the other guests (and the law) intoxicated guests may be asked to leave without a refund and will absolutely not be served alcohol.   Drink responsibly.

What kinds of beers will be available at the festival?  In short, only really good to out of this freaking world awesome beers.  The event is limited to Craft & Import Breweries only.  You will not find any giant macro brews at Untapped.  We will have a wide range of options for the hardcore beer geek and the newbie.

Will there be any special beers I can’t buy at the store?  Abso-freaking-lutely.  We’ve aspired to put together the greatest single-day compilation of beers in the history of Texas.  That’s a mouthful, but with all the extremely limited beers, first time releases & event specific brews we’re pretty dang proud of the list.  Also, considering the event is DRAFT BEER ONLY (only festival of its kind in Texas??) there’s a number of brews we’ll be offering that are never available in stores. See full beer list here.

How will the beers be served?  Beer & VIP Admission Ticket Holders will be given a sampling cup in which 2 oz samples will be poured (12 per ticket).  During the VIP Session ONLY 2 oz samples will be served to make sure as many people as possible get tastes of all the rare/unusual brews.  Additional Beer Sampling Cards may be purchased for $5 each at the event.  After 2:30 those cards can be used for a 12 oz pour of any beer available (by anyone over 21 years of age) OR for 12 samples at 2 oz each (ONLY FOR VIP & BEER TICKET HOLDERS- GA TICKET HOLDERS WILL ONLY BE ELIGIBLE TO GET 12 OZ POURS).

Why don’t I get unlimited samples?  By law, we are only allowed to offer 24 oz of beer at any one time.  Considering the rarity (and cost, this ain’t the cheap stuff), $5 for an additional 24 oz – or even 12 oz-  of these brews is a smokin’ deal.

What if I lose or break my sampling glass?  Well then you’re… Nah, just kidding.  BUT, we will have a limited supply of replacement glasses available and you can purchase them at the entry gate for $5 each.

What if I have a NOT Frequently Asked Question – who do I ask?   Click here to email the event organizers and we’ll get back to you with an answer as soon as possible.  Also, feel free to post it on the Untapped Festival Facebook page or Tweet us!
