What? Untapped Dallas.

Untapped Festival is a craft beer & music festival series that takes place in Dallas, FT Worth, Houston and now Austin and San Antonio, Texas. It began three years ago as two friends sharing a passion for craft beer and live music. The idea resonated with so many people that we’ve been able to spread to new cities and expand on the concept tremendously.

When? Saturday, November 7.

VIP pass holders are able to enter the venue as early as 1:30pm (first crack at the beers y’all!). All other pass holders can enter starting at 2:30pm.

Where? Fair Park, Dallas, TX

Fair Park is one of Dallas’ most recognizable landmarks, full of history and memories of the State Fair for most Texans. Some of Dallas’ largest events are hosted at Fair Park and it is well suited to accommodate the throngs of thousands of craft beer lovers that will attend Untapped Dallas 2015.

Click here for more information about Fair Park.

Why? Because. Craft Beer.

We’re passionate about craft brewing and the community of people that produce craft beer. We created Untapped Festival to educate people about the hundreds of amazing craft beers brewed in the US and, in Texas in particular; and to celebrate the people that brew them.

How’s It Work? Sample Beer. See Live Music.

General Admission tickets let you see the music & purchase full beers (assuming you’re of age). Tasting Package tickets include the music and a beer sampling card (for 12 samples). Preferred Tasting (VIP) tickets include all of the above, plus early access to the event, access to the VIP lounge, private restrooms and other benefits. Stout, our new Super VIP package, gets you all this plus complimentary food & beverage and more… Tasting, Preferred Tasting and Stout pass holders will have access to over 400 beers, served as 2 oz samples. And everyone (of age) can purchase full craft beers and enjoy great live music throughout the day on three stages inside Fair Park.

What do I need to bring to enter the festival? Tickets, ID… the usual.

For the smoothest experience, we recommend you bring a printed ticket. It is also possible, in some cases, to scan your printable ticket from your smartphone; but a printed version is preferred. You will also need your ID to prove you are of legal drinking age, unless you’re not…and then please just enjoy the music and leave the drinking for another year!

What beers will be sampled? 400+ beers from 100+ breweries!

Over 400 craft beers are on the beer lineup this year…Browse the lineup and refer to the official Untapped Festival Map to plan your sampling strategy.

Will You Be Able To Purchase Full Beers? Absolutely!

Delicious craft beer will be available from can stands, the Untapped Pub, Goose Island Beer Garden and inside the VIP lounge, for anyone over the age of 21 (who does not appear to be intoxicated).

Will There Be Food? Yes!

We believe that the passion for craft beer is closely tied to an appreciation for organic, premium ingredients and farm-to-table thinking. Untapped Dallas is partnering with a selection of Dallas’ most unique food providers to complement your palate as you enjoy the many dozens of fine brews brought together at the festival.

Will There Be Discounts? Not so much…

We may issue certain private invitations through our valued partners which include discounted rates; but other than that, no…we have no discounts planned.

Is the event 21+? No! This event is ALL AGES!

We welcome minors to appreciate the fantastic live music at Untapped Fest. Children under 10 get in free; 10 and up must purchase a General Admission ticket.

How many beers can I sample? Lots…

Per TABC guidelines we can only sell 24 ounces of beer at a time, but you can really sample as much as you like. The purchase of a Tasting Package or Stout ticket provides you a tasting cup and “Beer Sampling Card” worth twelve 2 oz samples of craft beer. Additional beer sampling cards can be purchased for $7.

What do I get with my Stout passes? All the things…

Stout is our new “Super VIP” package and provides enhanced levels of comfort, convenience and access.

Stout pass holders receive:

  • Early entry / Express entry
  • Premium stage viewing areas
  • VIP Lounge
  • Complimentary food from local vendors
  • Complimentary bar with beer/wine/spirits
  • Private restrooms and other benefits…

Can I upgrade my ticket? Yes, if tickets are available

So long as we still have the tickets you want available we’re happy to upgrade you at the Prekindle box office for the difference in price.

What am I not allowed to bring? No surprises here…

Chairs, blankets, glasswear, flashlights, any food or drink, weapons (duh), laser pointers, graffiti pens & paint, illegal stuff, mullets, prison tattoos and bad attitudes are strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to deny any items we deem dangerous or inconvenient to other guests.

What kinds of things AM I allowed to bring? The usual stuff…

Good vibes, a serious thirst, handbags, do-rags, sunglasses, hats, sandals, cameras, cigarettes, lighters, sunscreen, bug spray, umbrellas (just in case), hackey-sacks, an open mind and your encyclopedic knowledge of craft beer!

Are dogs allowed? YES! We love dogs and this venue DOES allow them!

We LOVE dogs, and it turns out that Fair Park DOES allow dogs. Bring your furry pal along for the fun!

Will there be a drop-off area for people taking cabs, Uber, etc? Most definitely!

We STRONGLY encourage you to use a service like Uber (check out the free ride promotion) or get dropped off/picked up by friends. You may have heard…there’s going to be a lot of beer to drink…responsibly. Refer to the Parking Map for details (enter Gate 2 off Washington Ave and follow the signs). PLUS: Don’t forget that DART has a station at the entrance to Fair Park.

Are ins-and-outs allowed? Not unless you have Preferred Tasting or Stout passes.

All the good stuff is inside the festival anyway…Why would you want to leave? But seriously, Preferred Tasting (VIP) and Stout (Super VIP) pass holders are allowed in-and-out privileges.

What times are the bands playing? Got you covered…

Click here for the artist set times!

What is the restroom situation? All good.

We’ll have an ample supply of courtesy stations for all guests and especially convenient stations for Preferred Tasting and Stout pass holders.

Are credit/debit cards accepted? Bring cash…

Some of the vendors will accept cards and for the rest, we will have several ATMs on site.

Where do I park? Follow the signs!

Our best recommendation, in all seriousness, is not to drive. Please consider DART, Uber, another car service, cabs, or really anything other than driving home from a beer festival. Having said that, for anyone who needs to park at the festival, please refer to our Parking Map and driving directions for more information (enter Gate 2 off Washington Ave and follow the signs).

How much will parking cost? $10 CASH ONLY

Parking on festival grounds is $10 (cash only) and, if you’re not going to Uber or take DART, we recommend you park on-site.

Will there be any seating? A few seats at the pub, basically.

There will be limited seating in various areas, like the beer garden, pub and food court, but these areas are not designed for ideal concert viewing.

Who should I contact with questions about tickets? Our friends at Prekindle!

Prekindle sells all Untapped Festival tickets and will be happy to address any ticket-related questions you may have. Please contact Prekindle at support@prekindle.com and they’ll take care of you right away.
